Lewisburg Safety Action Plan – Public Engagement Comments and Recommendations

The Borough of Lewisburg is excited to announce the development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan!

This project is funded by a Safe Streets and Road for All (SS4A) planning grant from the US Department of Transportation. When completed, the Plan will help to improve safety for all modes of transportation by identifying needs within the network and appropriate countermeasures, and guiding transportation safety investments for the next several years.

Phase 2 of the public engagement process kicked off on May 21, 2025 with the second Public Open House held on May 21, 2025 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lewisburg Hotel. This meeting focused on reviewing draft proposed recommendations, and gave participants an opportunity to ask questions of the project team and provide comments. Participants were also asked to provide input that will inform the prioritization of proposed projects.
