Lewisburg Borough 2026 Streets Project Construction Schedule (weather dependent)

Gutelius Excavating, Inc., Mifflinburg, PA, working on behalf of Lewisburg Borough, will begin construction activities associated with Lewisburg Borough’s 2026 Streets Project on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 and will continue work through at least Friday, July 10, 2026.

Construction will be occurring on North Eighth Street between Market Street and U.S. Route 15/Derr Drive, North Front Street between St. John Street and St. Anthony Street, and Spruce Street from St. Louis Street to the dead end.  Our streets project includes base repairs to the roadway, milling of the old asphalt, paving of the street, and line painting.  As the project will involve multiple phases of work over the period of construction, please comply with all posted “No Parking” signs for the duration of the project as ticketing and towing of vehicles may be necessary to ensure the project is completed in a safe and timely manner.

Street closures will be necessary at times during the construction project.

We understand that road construction activities can be frustrating.  However, street maintenance is a necessary part of Borough’s operations and the responsibility of our municipality.  As always, please slow down in all construction zones and watch for workers on the street.
