Lewisburg Borough’s Emergency Management Coordinator Limits Gatherings to Ten Persons or Less as part of Efforts to Limit the Spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus

Based on the continued observations of non-compliance of our Borough residents/visitors heeding the warning of excessive gatherings of more than ten (10) persons as recommended by the CDC and the PA Department of Health to reduce the transmission of the coronavirus, the Lewisburg Borough Emergency Management Coordinator has issued an emergency order within the municipal limits of the Borough of Lewisburg to limit all gatherings to ten (10) or less persons in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of Lewisburg Borough.  This order shall exempt life-sustaining business activities.  This order was issued at 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2020, and shall take effect immediately.  The order will be enforced by the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department through the duration of this Disaster Emergency (April 21, 2020).

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
