Planning Commission – Four Year Term – 01/01/10 through 12/31/13 – One Vacancy
- The Commission prepares a comprehensive plan, at the request of Borough Council; makes recommendations to the Council concerning the adoption or amendment of an official map; prepares and presents the zoning ordinance and makes recommendations to Council on proposed amendments; Prepares, recommends and administers subdivision and land development, and planned residential development regulations; Prepares and presents to Council a building code and a housing code and makes recommendations concerning proposed amendments; among other things
- Member shall be Lewisburg Borough resident.
- Meetings are held monthly.
Vacancy Board – Two Year Term – 01/01/10 through12/31/11 – One Vacancy
- This position is responsible for working with the Borough Council in the event the Council is unsuccessful in filling a position within 30 days from its vacancy. Specifically, “If any vacancy shall occur in the office of the mayor, member of council, auditor, controller, assessor, or tax collector. . .such vacancy shall be filled within 15 additional days by the Vacancy Board.”
- Member shall be a resident at-large and will act as the Chairperson of the Vacancy Board.
Lewisburg Area Recreation Authority – Term Expiration 12/31/13 – (Filling of an unexpired term) – One Vacancy
- The Lewisburg Area Recreation Authority (LARA) directs, manages, and administers a community recreation and parks program.
- Member shall be Lewisburg Borough resident.
- Meetings are held monthly.
